The original Mario Kart was so much fun when we were kids. It was one of the best car games out there. You can have so much fun racing around the track. It was great then, because we knew nothing about graphics, or technology we just enjoyed the game. As far as car games went we did not think it would ever get any better.
We did not know how wrong we were. With the great technology that is being developed, car games are better than they ever have been. 3D capabilities makes cars fly out of the screen, motion detectors make the games fun and even a little anaerobic. The newest technology has not even been on the market for a few months yet, but people are already addicted to Kinect. You use your body as the controller, and you really have to use your imagination to pretend to drive a car.
The new Mario Kart features controllers that are actually wheels. As far as car games go, this is the best. This way you can turn the wheel to drive like you would in real life. This makes racing your friends so much fun, and there is no way you could ever get bored with it. There are fun sound effects and the controller shakes when you get hit or when you are jumping over things. The graphics are amazing, and you really feel like you are playing a 3D movie instead of a video game. This game provided hours of fun when I was a kid, and now the circle has come back around for my kids to enjoy a better version of the game. I am sure there will be more exciting advances in the Mario Kart world, and I can’t wait to see what they come up with next. My kids and I will just have fun trying to beat.
